About the Role
Job Purpose
Responsible for cleanliness and health and safety of children, and the school community.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures the health and safety of all students within the school at all times.
Ensure that student is cleaned, and changed as needed especially before turning over to parents.
Assist in monitoring safety in the play area during playtime or events
Address the hygienic need of each student e.g.Change diaper/ clothes when wet/ bathroom needs.
Assist during breakfast, snacks and lunchtimes.
Maintaining cleanliness of the classroom and areas around the school assigned.
Assists in the safe & orderly receiving and departure of children each day.
Adheres to and upholds all branch policies and procedures, demonstrating professional and respectful behaviour.
Identify and report to Supervisor possible risks around the school.
Ensure that Health and Safety Procedure is being adhered at all times.
Promote positive behaviour in dealing with the students, parents, and other staff.
Report any issues inside the classroom to the teacher especially those that need immediate attention.
Physical Requirements
Possesses physical and mental stamina required to oversee large numbers of young children on a daily basis.

Requirements
Secondary Education Diploma
Patience, Compassion, Organization, Communication.
Basic English Literacy
1 Year of Experience in School Setting
