Language
Learn to Communicate
At El-Salam American Nursery & Preschool we provide opportunities for your child to experience a rich language environment; develop their confidence and skills in expressing themselves and speak and listen to a range of situations.
A specialist Arabic teacher also visits regularly and supports the older children to encourage the early development of another language.
Individual Development
Learn to Grow
Staff will provide children with experiences and support which will help them develop confidence in their own abilities, a positive sense of themselves and others, respect for themselves and others, develop social skills, learn how to manage their feelings, and understand appropriate behavior in groups.
Physical Development
Learn to Run
We encourage children to be active and interactive; to develop their coordination, control, and movement.
During physical activities, their fine and motor skills will be developed, including balance and coordination. Children will also be able to make healthy choices in relation to food and learn about healthy eating.
Art Lessons
Learn to be Creative
Children are able to explore and play with a wide range of media and materials, as well as provided with opportunities for sharing their thoughts, ideas, and feelings through a variety of activities in art, music, movement, dance, role-play and design and technology.

Learn to Apply
We support and guide children to make sense of their physical world and their community through opportunities to explore, observe and find out about people, places, technology, and the environment.
Mathematics
Learn to Calculate
Children will have the opportunity to develop their understanding of counting and using numbers, calculating simple addition and subtraction problems; and describing shapes, spaces, and measures.
